After launching various residential projects, the Lucio Tan-led Eton Properties Philippines, Inc. will put up office buildings designed to accommodate business process outsourcing (BPO) companies.
President Danilo Ignacio told reporters Monday they will build seven low-rise office buildings in EDSA corner Quezon Avenue called Eton Cyberpod Centris, the BPO development forms part of the mixed-use and fully integrated community the company plans to establish in the 12-hectare prime property.
“Groundbreaking of the first office building will be on December 8 and turnover is expected by the fourth quarter of next year,” Ignacio said.
All the seven office buildings will consist of 12 floors with a 2,000 sq.m. floorplate and 18,000 sq.m. of retail and office spaces.
By January 2008, Eton Properties will launch Eton Cyberpod Corinthian, a BPO complex located at the corner of Ortigas Ave. and EDSA fronting Robinsons Galleria.
Masterplanned for three four-storey office buildings within a 1.1-hectare area, the project offers a floorplate of 3,000 sq.m. for each building and can accommodate almost 12,000 sq.m. per structure to address the space requirements of BPO companies.
“The first building of this development is slated for completion by the second semester of 2008,” Ignacio said. |
